Jupiter Public School has always understood the significance of being physically active. Regular Physical exercise improves brain health, helps in managing weight, strengthens bone and reduces the risk of disease. Importance of sports in a student’s life can never be overlooked. School students who play sports are more likely to be active adults and being active, according to the World Health Organisation is one of the most important ways to prevent diabetes, heart disease and other debilitating ailments. All the classes of JPS have their sports period. During that period they play a variety of outdoor games in the school playground like Basketball, Football and Badminton. Every Saturday the students attend a mass drill exercise. Every morning they do yoga and meditation under the guidance and supervision of their sports teacher. Along with regular Physical exercise, a balanced diet is provided to the students to keep them fit. As a healthy mind resides in a healthy body, JPS tries its best to make every Jupiterian physically fit and healthy.
