INFRASTRUCTURE
In terms of infrastructure and technology support, Jupiter is top among the other schools in its class in Orissa. All the galleries and class rooms are spacious and air conditioned enough to ensure fatigue-free teaching and learning inside the class rooms. Teaching is imparted with the help of LCD Projector and hi-fi acoustic arrangements. Audibility is evenly distributed throughout the classroom at an optimum decibel, which is electronically controlled.
LIBRARY
Our school has a well stocked library, staffed adequately to keep the library in good order and to guide the students during their library periods to make the best use of the library facilities. The stocks constantly expanded and updated to provide meaningful latest reference materials to students and teachers. All have access to the library. There is a special section for teachers. There is also Video Film Library of informative and educational films, catering to the needs of different age groups.

WELL EQUIPPED COMPUTER LABS
A student well-equipped with the latest technology is one of our primary priorities. Jupiter Public School’s computer labs will provide you with all the computer skills you need.
LABORATORY
Jupiter Public School is proud to have a sophisticated Science Laboratories with the latest state-of-the art facilities. Science Laboratories of JPS provides a platform for students to nurture the budding scientist within them. The laboratory is furnished with latest hi-tech interactive smart boards for a virtual real life learning experience.
HOSTEL
Separate hostels for both Boys and Girls are available with in-house superintendents. The hostels are at walking distance from college. All the rooms of the main hostel have AC & Non Ac rooms with 3 seated with attached toilet. The rooms are furnished. All the hostels are connected by telephone. Hygienic food is provided in hostel. Guest room facility is provided inside the hostel for visiting parents. Parents can stay in the hostel with prior booking at nominal rent. Students desirous of staying in hostel have to apply separately. Only studious candidates with a disciplined bent of mind are allowed to stay in the hostel.

SPORTS & EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
At Jupiter Public School, we keep this approach in mind with our after-school program. Students have the opportunity to participate in enriching activities such as sports, academic competitions, and clubs. We make it a priority to provide students with a safe and comfortable place to go even after classes have ended for the day.
HOUSE SYSTEM
The students are divided into four houses and each house has a House Captain , Vice Captain and House Representatives headed by House master . All the Houses shall perform the following duties by rotation.
- To conduct the morning assembly.
- To collect and prepare news of International, National, School and Sports events and also write thought of the day on the blackboard meant for the purpose.
- To deliver the thought in the form of a short speech in the assembly.
- To check the latecomers and mark in the diary.
- To help in maintaining order and discipline during the recess period.
- To look after the general cleanliness of the school.
- To check the students uniform.
- To participate enthusiastically in all intra-house and inter house contests.
- To be proud of own house and always work for its healthy tradition.
- To help in maintaining discipline on occasion of school functions.
- To help the school authorities in organizing various school functions and making suitable arrangements for them.
